Highlander Cafe @ Outram Park

This is a really well-kept secret! Ulu outram park actually has such cool places! This place is really near the mrt, just opposite sgh. Really good coffee reasonably priced for a change! Being underpopulated is also a bonus, you don't feel bad hanging out there because it's not like you're crowding up the place anyway. I went with an interesting group of people. Not aramia and justine, but lihong and liyong, rarely hang out with them despite us all being nelites, so it was fun =)Quaint exterior. They serve serious coffee, hurhur, cannot joke ar.Pretty foam art! This was aramia's hazelnut latte.I got a large cafe mocha, so it came in the takeaway cardboard cup. And look! Instead of a hole already there, you have to open the tab? Then you flip it back and push it into the hole behind where it's held fast! Ingenious! We're right next to the wall opposite the counter already. That's how small the place is.
This place was a couple stores down from Highlander. Interesting, no? Looks so cute and retro! And it's gotta be a one-of-a-kind. There can't be more of these in Singapore without us knowing right?? And there was another bookstore a few doors down that sold a lotta medical reference books and model skeletons and stuff. Must be due to the proximity to sgh. The medical vibe just permeates everywhere.
