Crochet Toys

Been in a sorta weird emo mood these days...but these colourful adorable crocheted toys certainly brought a smile to my face! I think my favourites are the crab, horned beetle, hotdog (with mustard) and cheeseburger. Think the glue is really random.

Need to stop thinking so much! Tralalala...Need to listen to more happy gay songs from Apples In Stereo. We need sleepover soon! So we can make use of your new speakers and bake things and do stupid things. And so we can rant on about our usual girlish complaints and you can diao me and not indulge me in my emo rants.

Energy - Apples in Stereo

And the world is made of energy
and the world is possibility
and the world is made of energy
and there's a light inside of you
and there's a light inside of me.

And the world is made of energy
and the world is synchronicity
and the world is made of energy
and there's a light inside of you
and there's a light inside of me.

It’s gonna be all right
It’s gonna be all right uh huh yeah.
We’re gonna see the sunlight
We’re gonna see the sunlight uh huh yeah.

X-mini Capsule Speaker

Just bought this today! I bought the red one, and it looks really hot, a lot prettier than the black one ;) Can't wait to show you guys. The sound quality is really quite good for speakers of this size, it's a really clear and solid sound, and doesn't crack or sound tinny even at full blast. It has a pretty good base, which apparently, is all due to that brilliant accordion-like technology you see up there. My crappy laptop speakers can finally retire in good conscience. And, AND it's super portable, it really is that small! Palm-sized! And the cable is retractable, so you don't have to deal with a lotta long wires. And it came with a little pouch to carry it in! Y'all can check out this review to find out more techy info.

For $32.90 (it was on a small sale) I think it's really worth it. Plus, it's that really common plug, you know, that one, lol, so it works with most other things, including my ipod! Can provide music during sleepovers/picnics next time! I feel so high-tech and gadget-y! =D

Stephen Fry - The Letter

This is a really hilarious monologue by Stephen Fry (<3<3<3!!). My favourite parts are the bit about hideously disfigured... and the pronounced limp. Enjoy!

PS. now you know why i'm gonna fail oral bio =p

On the topic of games...

Try this one recommended by notmartha, really quite fun =) one of those where you have to puzzle things out by yourself. Of course, there are answers posted by players, but that takes some of the fun out =) Maddy, good for your boring classes.

Mitchell & Webb

Another Brit comedic pair. Some of their stuff's a bit iffy, but on the whole, very funny sketches! Check them out!

Haha...the song we were trying to sing that day...

Dedicated to our beloved ex-eye-candy who would swagger by our classroom every friday morning during 7th floor chem.
