The (Un)Coolest Band

Omg, you all know how much I love, LOVE Belle & Sebastian, with all the little bits of my heart and more, but they are such an uncool band! Lol! I think it just made me love them more, hahahaha. Please please please check out the vid. You don't have to watch to the end, can just listen to the really nice song, one of my favourites! Well, but I have many favourites when it comes to Belles, haha. But you have to watch the front bit of the video at least! Cos it's sad and funny, haha.



The Boy with the Arab Strap: This is such a chill kinda performance, haha, cos the song isn't really something you can do more than bop to. I'm not sure if that's the whole regular band, cos they were diff in the other vid, haha. But omg, check out the guy playing the guitar, that one in the hoody and geeky specs. He dances in such a gay way!!! And he gave a supremely unsubtle nod to cue in the drummer for a sequence somewhere in the song! But anyway, the main point is the geeky specs guy, ohh, damn funny watching him bop around with that guitar and shake his butt. Well, at least he's doing more than that guy who just claps. Oh wait, oops, turns out he was the extra keyboardist, he has more stuff to do later on in the vid, like the tambourine.

Okay, next song intro. Protons, Neutrons, Electrons by the Cat Empire. I know, the title sounds silly, and it IS a silly song, but not in the way you think! More like, silly sound? But it's quite a cool song with cool lyrics, haha. Like: Sometimes I eat KFC/Other times I give up meat/And I just eat lentils. Lentils! That's a new achievement in the song-writing world man, totally beats your asphalt Maddy, lol. So listen quick before imeem edits it to 30secs!

Hypothesis testing: H0, H1

Reporting back on this mysterious phenomenon:

Same said flower an hour later - its petals are obviously tinged with pink around the edges. Interesting, it turns pink not from the inside out, but the outside in.This flower, still attached, was photographed at around the same time. Evidently being plucked slows down the colour change. Hmm, or could it be the sunlight? So mysterious!This is a day-old (i think) bloom, it just gets a darker and darker pink as it goes on. A picture of the yet-to-blooms just to round things off. It's a curious plant, either growing really tall or staying really low like a bush. We have both types.

Anyway, following this I decided to take a (very rare) walk around my garden and check out the other flowers. I'm surprised! Quite a lot of blooms! And they look so cheerful! Got to keep an eye out for them in the future. Here's a few:A flower after my own heart, it prefers the shade.

From my garden

Really pretty flower from my garden (i don't know the name =p). Walked into the living room after breakfast to see one of these lying on the table, and decided to whip out the camera. According to my grandma, they turn bright pink at noontime. Mind-boggling!

This last picture's just to gratify myself and hao lian, haha, because the lighting and everything is damn nice. I have no idea why the wood table appears black in the pictures, but artsy eh, haha. It's my current wallpaper and I'm amazed with my photography, lol.

Okay. The movie sucked ass. Do NOT watch it. Unless you want a good laugh at bad acting and bad directing.

This first video is of Sylvie Guillem and Eric Vu An. Its a very very strange dance set to spacey experimental futuristic type music but the technique is like jawdropping. A very very atypical dance that makes keeps you glued from the first second to the last.



This second video just sexy dancing. The kind that makes you cry (for me, almost cry. since i don't really cry) and makes you wish you could watch it live.
